County Championship

The County Championships is our flagship event exclusively for players who meet the County eligibility criteria of either living in the county or being born there.

This is an annual event held at the Shrewsbury Club at the end of August and features singles and doubles events for boys and girls in a number of age classes, from eight and under up to 18 and under. Wheelchair, open adult and seniors players also have the opportunity to pick up a racket competing in singles, doubles and mixed doubles competitions across a range of age groups.

The County Championships week is the busiest week in the competitive calendar right across the county with more players competing during this week than any other.

Entries for the County Championships usually open in July and the tournament can be found on the LTA competition system.
